"Then I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will lead you
with knowledge and understanding." Jeremiah 3: 15-16

Servant Leadership
-
The purpose of Christian leadership is to move people toward the fulfillment of
their God given goals.
- Servant leadership is the complete opposite to the world’s system of leadership.
Jesus said, "You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave—just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve…" Matthew 20:20-28. - Servant leadership exists for the benefit of others.
It seeks to minister to the needs of others. In Luke 14:1-5 Jesus demonstrates this principle. Its motivation comes from seeing the need and responding with compassion. - Servant leadership is unselfish and conducts itself with humility.
(Luke 14:7- 14.) Humility protects us from pride and enables us to have a teachable spirit. - Servant leadership is sustained by integrity.
Jesus shows his integrity when accused of not having a valid testimony,
(John 8:46) "Can any of you prove me guilty of sin?"
